Use these lesson plans in the classroom alongside all of the activities on the collegeforTN platfrom to teach students objectives of college and career readiness.

This lesson is designed to help students write an effective personal essay to coincide with their resume and promote their skills and experience for a job interview or application.

This lesson is designed to help students write SMART goals in several areas (academic, personal, career, and financial) using the CollegeforTN website. Additionally, students will consider how they will achieve these goals by writing strategies that will help them stay on target.

This lesson is designed to help students explore a variety of careers available using the CollegeforTN website and the results of their Learn About Yourself inventory in order to sort through potential careers, summarize their findings in a presentation, and reflect upon which career they are most drawn to.
